The Ipswich OKsoberfest typically commences on a Friday evening from 7PM to 9 PM, featuring guest speakers and light entertainment, through to Sunday afternoon 1:30PM. AA meetings are held throughout hosted by Group Members within the District.

Since 2022 the event has been held at a hall at the Ipswich Showgrounds. For early risers the day starts early with breakfast and a morning meditation before meetings commence at 9AM.

 

Ipswich Al-Anon and Al-Ateen meetings for family members are held in a separate meeting room.

​

A two course Dinner Dance and Auction is held on the Saturday night from 6:30pm featuring a live band.
