In 2025 the world famous Ipswich OKsoberfest is being replaced with an all-in one day Soberfest. The event will be held in the Showplace Reception Centre at the Ipswich Showgrounds on the 25th October 2025.

Ipswich Al-Anon and Al-Ateen meetings will be held in a separate meeting room.

 

​Amenities for caravans and mobile homes are available close by the meeting hall within the Showgrounds with prebooking at https://ipswichshow.com.au/caravan-park.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the 5PM Sunday and 7:00PM Thursday night Ipswich AA meetings at a discounted $20 or $25 at the door.
